1: You pay the insurance excess in the event of damage during your use, unless another party involved in the accident (or their liability insurance) covers the damage. You pay at most the stated excess. For damages that are lower, you only pay the actual costs.
Want to drive with more peace of mind? Our Comfort Rate offers this: in the event of damage, you pay an insurance excess of only a maximum of 190 euros (instead of 550 euros with the Basic Rate). For this, you pay only 9.00 euros extra per month and just 4 cents more per kilometer (compared to the Basic Rate).

Kilometer prices include fuel!
You only ever need to refuel if the tank falls below a quarter full by the end of your trip. You then pay for this using our fuel card — at (almost) all filling stations across Europe. In exceptional cases, we will credit your fuel expenses (at the few filling stations that don’t accept our fuel card) on your monthly invoice. Per trip, you actually only pay the time and kilometer prices stated above.
Monthly fixed cost contribution — why?
We stay true to our motto “We share cars.” A car costs on average — even when it isn’t being driven — around 500 euros per month (for depreciation, insurance, and taxes). In the spirit of sharing, we think it’s only fair that all Willmobil customers contribute to these fixed costs with a small monthly amount. Only this counts as genuine carsharing — anything else is, in our view, just car rental. With this monthly contribution, you have the option to use our cars at any time (even at night or on public holidays) — booked spontaneously or well in advance. With every booking, you get to choose: the equipment and size of the Willmobil and the location of the station. That’s quite a bargain for our relatively low fixed cost contributions, compared to fixed costs of around 500 euros per month for owning your own car. Don’t you think?

The following table shows example time prices for 24 hours each. The discount on the time price increases the longer your booking period is and the greater your distance traveled. Kilometer costs are added on top.

If you fall below the kilometer or hour threshold (e.g. after partial cancellations), the lower discount tier will be applied. Partial cancellations are also discounted. Upon advance request, we offer individual time-price discounts — tailored to your specific trip and to current demand.

Our Family or Couples Rate
Private individuals who live together in the same household can sign a joint contract with us and share the one-time enrollment fee as well as the monthly fixed cost contribution.
Company Rate
For companies, associations, etc. that sign a joint contract with us as a single entity (for use by multiple employees), we offer the Company Rate. Please ask for further details if you do not wish to become a customer with us as a private household.
